Atlas Lithium's Neves Project on Track for Q4 2027 Production, Strong Offtake Interest Reported

Atlas Lithium Corporation (NASDAQ: ATLX) has announced that its 100%-owned and fully permitted Neves Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, remains on track for first commercial production of lithium oxide concentrate in the fourth quarter of 2027. The vertically integrated mining and processing complex is designed to produce approximately 150,000 tonnes annually, and written product interest from multiple companies totals more than three times planned production capacity, indicating strong market demand for the project's output.

The project's Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) projects a 145% after-tax internal rate of return, an 11-month payback period, and operating costs of $489 per tonne. These robust economic metrics suggest that the Neves Project could become a significant low-cost supplier in the global lithium market, which is critical as demand for lithium continues to rise with the adoption of electric vehicles and renewable energy storage solutions.

Atlas Lithium also reported progress on detailed engineering, project management, construction, earthworks, and electromechanical work, with partner contracts finalized at or below DFS budget levels. This disciplined approach to project execution could mitigate cost overruns and maintain the project's financial viability. Additionally, the company expects the Neves operation to generate more than 5,000 direct and indirect jobs in Brazil's Jequitinhonha Valley, providing a substantial economic boost to the region.

With approximately 557 square kilometers of mineral rights across Brazilian lithium districts, Atlas Lithium holds one of the largest lithium exploration footprints in Brazil among publicly listed companies. The company intends to expand Neves industrial capacity and develop additional processing facilities across its broader project portfolio, positioning itself for long-term growth in the lithium sector.

The announcement is important because it reaffirms the project's timeline and highlights the strong interest from potential off-takers. For investors, the DFS projections of high returns and rapid payback could make Atlas Lithium an attractive opportunity in the lithium space. For the industry, the Neves Project's successful development could add significant supply to the global lithium market, potentially easing supply constraints and supporting the transition to cleaner energy technologies.

As the world moves toward electrification, securing reliable sources of lithium is paramount. Atlas Lithium's progress on the Neves Project, with its favorable economics and high offtake interest, underscores its potential role in meeting this demand. The company's commitment to expanding capacity and developing additional facilities could further solidify its position in the market.

Investors and industry observers will be watching closely as the project advances toward its targeted production date. For more information on Atlas Lithium, visit their website at https://www.atlas-lithium.com/. The full press release is available at https://ibn.fm/Rjwil.
